Zentangle technique is super fun and you need NO experience to try it! If you can doodle, you can zentangle🙂 In reality, doodling is a little more mindless while zentangle is a little more focused. Some artists use it to make amazingly complex and lovely creations. I love the fact that for us stampers it’s fun and that you focus on what you are making while putting all your stresses and worries on hold.
We made this card in my March stamp club in San Antonio, and it got really quiet while people were making it. Everyone got into “the zone” of creativity, creating their repeating patterns, and being delighted with their results. I encourage you to try zentangle technique! It’s going to show up again at my upcoming Training Event on April 2nd. Full details on that are here. It’s a full day of stamping fun, and I would love for you to join us.
I chose the Blended Bloom stamp as the main focal point. It’s a fabulous stamp if you like techniques. My post is a bit longer today as I share samples of Blended Bloom with other techniques that I did about a year ago. If you like rubberstamping techniques, you will want to get Blended Bloom. I chose the saying from Suite Sayings in the Occasions Catalog. It’s such a unique card, made with a unique rubberstamping technique…that the “Thanks for being you” seemed to be the perfect saying!
The next handmade card uses bleach to get the effect on Blended Bloom. Very cool and done with ordinary household bleach. We will be using this technique as well at my upcoming Training Event on April 2nd. So you really do need to come and join us!
Stampin’ Up! supplies list below is just for the zentangle card. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to doodle intentionally!
