Rubberstamp Club in San Antonio

World Treasures rubberstamp set
I created this handmade card, featuring World Treasures rubberstamp set, for my rubberstamp clubs in San Antonio, and we had such fun making it!  This is a gorgeous rubberstamp set–from the main Stampin' Up! catalog–with great versatility.  Check out this previous post for a look at World Treasures going all Christmas.  

Here, I used a color scheme of Island Indigo and More Mustard.  That color scheme is appropriate for any time of the year and can also be very useful for masculine cards.  There is great sparkle and shine on the flowers of my handmade card via Dazzling Details.  My photo doesn't quite do justice to the sparkle.

I have the supply list and directions below for your convenience.  My rubberstamp clubs in San Antonio are up for renewal in January, and that means you can join!  I would love for you to be my guest at one of my rubberstamp club meetings this month to check us out and see what you think.  Here are the dates and times:

    World Treasures Friendship Card

    • Stamps: 
      World Treasures rubberstamp set
    • Ink: 
      Island Indigo Classic Stampin’ Pad; More Mustard, Lucky Limeade Stampin’
      Write Markers
    • Paper: 
      More Mustard, Island Indigo, Whisper White Card Stocks; Summer Smooches
    • Accessories: 
      Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, , Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine,
      Clear Dazzling Details, Pearls Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, SNAIL

    1.  Fold 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
    piece of mustard card stock in half and crease with bone folder.  Stick 5-1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of DSP along left
    side in portrait layout.

    2.  Using markers,
    color flower stamp and stamp onto 3 x 2 piece of white card stock.  Put SNAIL on back and wrap bakers twine 3 x
    around lower portion of card stock at base of leaf on flower design.   Take 3” piece of bakers twine and tie knot
    around bakers twine.  Stick to 3-1/4 x
    2-1/4 piece of mustard cardstock.  Stick
    this to 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of indigo card stock, creating a triple matted art
    piece.  Place 4 dimensionals on back and
    adhere to card.  Fill in flowers with
    pearls and then highlight area around flowers with Dazzling Details.

    3.  Stamp
    “faithful friend” greeting on 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of white card stock with
    indigo ink.  Run through Big Shot with
    framelit.  Attach to card with
