Window Shopping rubberstamp set is not only for use with its coordinating Window Box dies–it will stamp alone as a great rubberstamp set in its own right. Today I have a quick and easy card for you featuring just the stamps.
This is one of the cards we made in my Simply Cards Monthly Card Class. We make 6 cards, 3 each of 2 designs as we build our card stash every month. If you're in the San Antonio area, I would love for you to join us–there is both a morning and evening session. Although Simply Cards Monthly Card Class occurs each month, there is no commitment or joining or anything like that. Pop in when you can and go home with a nice little package of cards for your greeting card stash:)
This is a true quick and easy card made special with just a few touches:
- My classic color scheme is mainly black and white with a bit of Pool Party and Bermuda Bay thrown in. Simple elegance!
- Tight, double mat layers make the sentiment (aka greeting) really stand out and also adds elegance.
- A tiny bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (a single leaf punch) brings a bit of dazzle and shine without overwhelming.
- Although I usually color my White Perfect Accents to bring custom color coordination to my projects (using Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers), I left them in their natural white state for today's quick and easy card. White perfect accents are flatter than Basic Rhinestone Jewels and Basic Pearls. That means my quick and easy card will easily mail for a single forever stamp, and that makes sending it quick and easy, too:)
Although the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is from the Occasions Catalog, everything else is from the main (annual) Stampin' Up! catalog. Don't forget that there is a WEALTH of creative ideas and supplies in the annual catalog!
That's it for today. Be sure to fill in the box shown below at the top right of my blog to get all my blog posts delivered to your inbox. Then you don't miss anything! I endeavor to consistently bring you sound, usable, practical, and beautiful creative inspiration. Let me know how you think I'm doing! I welcome your feedback.
