Watercolor Winter Rubberstamp Set

Watercolor Winter Triple Layer

This beautiful handmade card featuring Watercolor Winter rubberstamp set was made by one of my trusty swapping buddies, Lori Skinner.  It was created with the Triple Time Technique, and we are using this very same technique…albeit with a different stamp set, at my stamp club meetings this month.  I'll show that sample soon–it uses the lovely Gently Falling rubberstamp set, and I can't wait to show you!

But back to this handmade card using Watercolor Winter.  Watercolor Winter rubberstamp set is one of many versatile and gorgeous sets in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  Its classic images are easy to work with, and the set is also very affordable.  At just $18.95 for clear mount and $25.95 for wood mount and with 7 rubberstamps with poinsettias, pinecones, holly leaves, and pine needles images, you can't go wrong.  Watercolor Winter will actually take you through fall and winter…and even beyond.  Oh, did I mention that this is a two-step rubberstamp set?  Do you know what that means?  It means you get twice the stamps–an outline image (shown above) as well as a fill-in image (shown below) for double the rubberstamping options!

This is another of Lori's designs and shows how you can take Watercolor Winter rubberstamp set and make it look springy/summery!  Although Lori uses the poinsettia rubberstamp image here, by using a different, bright color palette, the poinsettia comes incognito to another handmade card with a completely different look and feel.  Talk about creative options!  I love it!
