Walk in the Woods Card Idea

I'm so delighted to be part of Kylie Bertucci's Maui Achiever's Blog Hop!  It means YOU have access to some great projects, with just a touch of your finger, from top-performing demonstrators around the globe.  My share today features a Walk in the Woods card idea.  Walk in the Woods is a stamp set in the 2020/2021 annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  I love its woodland images and beautiful greetings and used a fall color palette to make this card feel like what is coming–my favorite season of the year!

Let me point out just a few things about today's Walk in the Woods card:

1. I used Saddle Brown StazOn for a soft look on the mushrooms.  It brings a really different look than Jet Black StazOn–which is what we are more used to using for watercolor.
2. Cinnamon Cider, one of the brand new In Colors, is perfect for fall color palettes!
3. I chose high contrast of an earthy focal point with mushrooms and soft watercoloring alongside a glitzy, dramatic foil pattern from Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP for a stunning combination.
