As promised yesterday, here's my slightly different take on yesterday's Triple Time Technique handmade card. Both masculine cards use the classic and enduring Lovely as a Tree stamp set. We made today's card at my Sip & Stamp event this week. Sip & Stamp is my monthly free event held at the Garden Tea Lounge in the back of Craftiques Mall on NW Military Hwy. It's an open event–rsvp's are encouraged but anyone can join in. I always prepare extra supplies:)
The two gold ribbons on the birthday card are new items in the newly released Stampin' Up! Catalog. So is the Gold Glitz. I love them all! Both the sympathy and birthday versions of this handmade card are great masculine cards. I find that masculine cards often fall into three categories: rustic, classic, and rock n roll. My hubby is definitely the classic type, so this style is great for him:)
Stampin' Up! Supplies:
- Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Bloom with Hope–for the sentiment (new hostess set)
- Ink: Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad
- Paper: Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla Card Stocks
- Accessories: Gold 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Gold 1/8" Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Gold Glitz
I'm showing the original card underneath for comparison. For my Sip & Stamp ladies, I gave them the choice to make it a sympathy card or birthday card and also their choice of ribbons to accent it. I love options myself and love to offer them to my customers! That is one of my favorite things about handmade cards: the ability to customize.
To purchase any of these supplies or just browse, head to my online store where you may also see my full calendar of events. I would love for you to join us on July 24th for some free stamping, great conversation, and yummy tea and food!
Thanks for stopping by!
