Welcome to the Birthday Blog Hop from Crafty Collaborations–a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who join hands to inspire YOU with all things creative and crafty using Stampin' Up! products.
Today it's all about birthdays! You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com and the full list of participating demonstrators is at the bottom of this post. Be sure to "hop" to the next blog once you check out my birthday cards!
I demonstrated a classic Designer Series Paper template during my Facebook Live: Triple Time Stamping. This has been around for quite some time, and I love it for breaking up really busy DSP. When Designer Paper is really pretty, colorful, and BUSY, Triple Time Stamping or Triple Time Technique is a perfect way to use that DSP in a really pleasing way. I start with a piece of 12" x 4" DSP to make this happen and have only 2 tiny scraps when I'm done. These 2 birthday cards are made with the exact same supplies except for the cardstock base and cardstock layers (plus ribbon:). It's amazing how the different "frames" bring out different colors in this floral pattern. Which is your favorite–blue or yellow???
What a great way to use that dsp!!
Yay, found the comment button. Love the cards and the technique you used. It works so well with that DSP.
