I ran a Christmas in July class by mail and am featuring my favorite of the 6 projects that all featured Trimming the Tree annual catalog stamp set. Scroll down to see the video with all six projects in the class–5 handmade Christmas cards and 1 tag. You can still get the pdf tutorial by clicking here. My card classes are for any level crafter.
My August Christmas card class by mail is open for registration here.
Here are a few things about my Trimming the Tree card share today:
*I mixed annual catalog (Trimming the Tree stamp set) with July-December Mini Catalog products (Festive Pearls, Lights Aglow DSP, Very Vanilla/Gold Ribbon).
*3-step stamping, with the awesome Trimming the Tree photopolymer stamp set, allowed me to achieve the 3 layers of color for my Christmas tree. Tree is stamped-off first with Soft Succulent ink. The tree detail is stamped on top of that with Soft Succulent ink (full strength). Lastly the garland/lights is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink for a beautiful Christmas tree made in mere seconds!
I hope YOU get inspired to make your own holiday cards this year. When I first began stamping, Christmas cards were the firs thing I made and I was hooked! I haven't sent store-bought cards since, and people love receiving my handmade holiday cards. I make lots of different designs and then choose which one to send according to the recipient:)
All Stampin' Up! supplies are listed and linked below for your reference and shopping convenience. Now, hop on over to the next blog for more creative inspiration from Stampin' Up! Trip Achievers.
