Stampin' Up! has some great rubberstamp sets for masculine cards, and I combined two of them here for a masculine card with classic images and a neutral color palette. This is one of 3 designs we made (2 of each) in my Simply Cards class in January. Click here to join me in March for the next one! I host an evening and daytime version of this perennial favorite where you can build a nice stash of cards to use all year. I do all the "work" so you can just come to stamp, assemble, socialize, and enjoy!
This masculine card is very easy to put together. Quick and easy cards are my favorites! That doesn't mean they need to look slap dash or second rate. The classic image from Traveler rubberstamp set and neutral palette combine here for classic elegance that would be welcomed by any gentleman:) I added the "Happy Birthday" stamp to the inside. Sponging is one of my favorite techniques. Here, it is the perfect fit to add some aging and character to the vintage train image as well as the card base bringing a cohesive look to the whole design. It takes just seconds!
