Touches of Texture rubberstamp set

Since my last post was sharing Mediterranean Cruise Incentive Trip Highlights, I thought a natural follow up would be to share some cards using Touches of Texture rubberstamp set.  This beautiful stamp set caught my eye when I first viewed the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.  To my delight, we were GIVEN this large, gorgeous set as one of our many gifts on the #sugrandvacation2016.  There are 15 stamps in the set!

We had Make & Takes on the cruise using this set, and I took those Make & Take designs and made them my own for the New Catalog Training Event I hosted last Saturday.  My Training Events occur quarterly and are aimed at my demonstrator team but open to all stampers.  They function as a true creative and business training event but also fill the space of a stamp camp in San Antonio since we make tons of projects, stamp all day, and have a blast!

Okay, on to today's creative inspiration.  I love, love, love the combination of Dapper Denim and Delightful Dijon.  My yellow is showing up a bit brighter here vs. deeper.  So I apologize for my pic not being totally accurate with color:(

Touches of TextureI had a LOT of positive feedback on these cards at the Training Event.  Everyone loved using the stamps!  Some stamp sets are just super fun to use, and Touches of Texture is one of those. My Training Event attendees get a swag bag with new products to use on the day and then take home for more creative fun.  These cards use all 3 of the items my ladies received:

  1. Metallic Enamel Shapes (you get both gold and silver–we used gold on these cards to complement the warm colors)
  2. 2015-2017 In Color Doilies
  3. Gold 1/4" Natural Trim

They bring extra special touches and texture.  I love texture on a card but also want an easy mail card (single stamp).  All these embellishments fit my requirements:)

I've listed and linked all the Stampin' Up! Supplies below. And you can see my full calendar of events here.  The next Training Event is October 1, so save the date and join us for a full day of stamping fun, friendship, and creativity!
