I have been working with Magenta Madness, one of the new In Colors and have a fabulous color combo to share with you! When you pair Magenta Madness with Calypso Coral and Mango Melody, you get a vibrant set of colors that blend together beautifully and remind me of a sunset. Hence my SUNSET SUNFLOWER!
I'm entering Kylie's monthly International Blog Highlights Contest, and it would be so awesome if you would click here and vote for my project:)
I'll be demonstrating this project on my Tuesday @ 2 weekly Facebook Live on 7-7-20. I hope you will join me!
Here are a few tips and tricks for my sunset sunflower card:
- Start with your lightest color and then move to the strongest when watercoloring. I began with Mango Melody, added Calyso Coral, and finished with Magenta Madness for a gorgeous sunset look.
- Allow watercolor paper to dry (or speed up by using a Heat Tool if you're impatient:) before die-cutting. If the paper is wet, it might rip during the die-cutting process.
- This is a lot of gorgeousness but still mails for a single stamp!!! Artistry Blooms sequins give so much dazzling color and light and yet are flat enough to mail successfully and affordably!
All Stampin' Up! supplies are listed and linked below for your convenience. Don't forget to vote for my card in this month's contest! The prize is getting to be part of a blog hop which means I will reward you with more creative inspiration!
Love the textures and vibrancy! Thanks Candy for being part of my International Highlights this month! All the best with the voting!
