Sunburst Thinlits in Peekaboo Peach

I have a super simple card for you today that is made special with just a few things, the first being the Sunburst Thinlits Die.  Its big sunburst shape brings a lot of sunshine into your paper crafting!  Simply run a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of card stock through the Big Shot with the die and voila!  You have this gorgeous sunburst!  Now, you can run other sizes of card stock and designer series paper through the Big Shot with this die because it's larger than my card.  But that is the size I used for this super quick and easy card.

What do you think about the Peekaboo Peach, one of the Stampin' Up! 2016-2018 In Colors?  I think it's pretty peachy:)  No, seriously…I like it a lot.  Its darker counterpart is Tangerine Tango, so that is how my color scheme came about.  I wanted to keep the colors all warm, so I went with just a touch of Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip and ten the Gold Thread and Metallics Enamel Shapes in gold were brought in for shiny accents. Super simple, but pretty.

The greeting is from th Sunburst Thinlit-Stampin' Up!e Sunburst Sayings stamp set which is actually designed to work seamlessly and effortlessly with the Sunburst Thinlits Die.  There is another stamp in the same set which says Happy Birthday to you.  I had both stamps out at my monthly card class which is where we made this card.  I love giving people options–isn't that part of the joy of card-making?  Making it say what we want it to say?!!

Why don't you consider joining me for my August Simply Cards Class?  There's both a daytime and nighttime class so you can pick what is best for you.  More options!  LOL!  Here are the dates and times of the August Simply Cards monthly card classes.  Simply click on the link for full information and/or to rsvp.
