In the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog, there is a gorgeous, single, very large rubberstamp called Swallowtail. I am privileged to regularly swap with some super-talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, and my swap partner Dorie made this gorgeous handstamped card featuring the Swallowtail rubberstamp that is my Saturday Sample today.
I think the Stampin' Up! Swallowtail rubberstamp is very versatile as it lends itself to very "artsy" cards like this one but also works well in simpler designs. I love Dorie's color scheme as well as her snazzy paper bow! And the embossed butterfly…well, it's simply gorgeous. I'm not sure if it is showing up in the photo, but the iridescent ice embossing powder puts an amazing shimmer on this swallowtail.
