My Sprinkles of Life stamp set was getting a bit lonely with all the excitement of Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions Catalog, so I decided to pull it out and use it for a sketch challenge my demonstrator team is doing. I found these two Designer Series Paper scraps in my drawer (Love Blossoms) and this is what happened. I really love pink and green together–I think they are a perpetually sweet and fresh color combo. In fact, my bedroom was decorated in those colors when I was in high school:) So today I ended up with a sweet little thank you card, sure to brighten someone's day when they receive it–even as it brightened mine to make it!
I stamped the leaves with Garden Green and then colored them in with Wild Wasabi–the lighter counterpart to Garden Green. And I just touched the center of the tiny flowers with the White Chalk Marker to bring a bit more brightness to my bunch of flowers. Extra little touches can be quick and easy but make a big difference.
Just a reminder that Sprinkles of Life is our Ronald McDonald House stamp set. What does that mean? It means a portion of the profits for each sale goes to RMH. Stampin' Up! writes a big, fat check at the end of each annual catalog period to Ronald McDonald House based on the sales of that year's exclusive stamp set. So you can make a difference when you purchase this stamp set!
Thanks so very much for stopping by today. I hope you have been inspired, even a little bit!
Blessings,
Candy Rattray, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
