Sympathy cards are one of the kindest expressions of our heart when someone is grieving. Long after the flowers have faded and family has gone home, sympathy cards remain to bring comfort and loving thoughts. Our handmade sympathy cards bring serene beauty along with heartfelt works.
Personally, I have pretty strong views on what I want when I'm creating a sympathy card:
- Simple is best. This is not the time to showcase all kinds of bells and whistles.
- No bright colors or high contrast for me. I prefer a somber tone to accompany the enormous sense of loss.
- No sparkle or shine either–this is not the time for glitz and glamor. A little bit of subtle shine is nice, but this is not the time for bling.
- Monochromatic or all neutral color palettes work really well for my sympathy cards.
