Sharing Love With Valentine Treats

I went live during the Super Bowl! Yep–I’m not a sports fan and thought others might be like me:). More than anything I wanted to share some super quick and easy ways to share love throughout the month of February thru Valentine treats packaging.

Although Valentine’s Day is almost here, I like using the entire month of February to share love thru random acts of kindness as well as giving special little somethings to the people who are so good to me all year. My husband and I are both at physical therapy twice a week (for completely different challenges) in efforts to stay on our feet. There are many techs and assistants plus several doctors who serve us all year. What a great time to show them a little love!

Valentine’s Day is actually a spiritual holiday rooted in the very kind and courageous acts of St. Valentine. He performed marriage ceremonies for young people when it was outlawed due to the Roman government believing it would weaken young soldiers. St. Valentine’s bold courage–and kindness–changed lives! As we share love throughout February, we can be the difference, bringing encouragement and appreciation to those around us.

Please note: these Valentine treat projects are super quick and easy–and simple. They are easily elevated. Add more embellishments, ribbons, die-cuts, etc. to make them fancier. The reason I went super simple is:

  • I need to make a lot of these. Therefore my projects are easy on my wallet and easy on my time.
  • I made tiny, extra small, and small treat holders so that I give small bits of candy. These are meant to be just a little something to brighten someone’s day.
  • The largest Valentine treat holder is a Kit Kat Slider. Sometimes, I want to give a full candy bar to someone who goes the extra mile for me. Personally, my budget does not allow for making 50 Kit Kit Sliders. But I can make 45 of the tiny and small treat holders and 5 Kit Kat sliders while remaining in budget.

I truly hope these simple Valentine treat projects inspire you to share love throughout February. To make and give beyond February 14, simple sway out the Happy Valentine’s greeting for something else. Easy, peasy! Use what you have–I used mostly Christmas Designer Series Paper. Why not??!!! It’s a great way to use up some leftover paper bits and pieces…and we all have those.
