When it comes to Valentines Day, I love classic! The whole Sending Love Suite in the Stampin Up! Occasions Catalog (which includes Sealed with Love stamps and lots of other Valentine-themed goodies) is perfect for making Valentines. I love the versatility of this suite as I can use it to make Valentine cards, treats, goodies, gifts, banners and more for any age. Love knows no limits and this suite is perfect picture of that:)
I created this Stampin' Up! Valentine card for my Sip & Stamp group. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Craftiques Mall in the Garden Tea Room. It's my free monthly class. We make one card and do a lot of socializing, sharing our creations (m any of the ladies bring things they have made so we can oooh and aaaah over them), and inspiring one another in creativity and life. It's a fun, free, no-commitment event that acts as a little bit of respite from the hectic frenzy of modern life. So now you know the setting. Let's get on with the card!
I used the Big Shot to create touchable texture with the Happy Hearts embossing folder and a few little added extras to bring some shimmer and shine: a single Red Glimmer Paper heart and that gorgeous new, silky ribbon (I used the silver one here, but you get both a roll of silver and gold) which is a free Sale-a-Bration item. If you have a really good eye for Stampin' Up! products, you may be wondering where that little red heart came from. It's actually from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die set. I would not normally get out that set just for a little heart. But I had made a bunch of those hearts for some Valentine treat bags and had leftovers. I couldn't let them go to waste! Come back tomorrow and I'll share the Valentine treat bags I made:)
My Stampin' Up! Valentine card is simple, quick, and just right to wish anyone of any age a Happy Valentine's Day. Do it and share some love!
That's it for today. I hope you are making some special somethings for some special someone's for Valentines Day! Relax, create, share, and repeat:)
