For today's Saturday Sample, I'm sharing a recent swap featuring For the Birds stamp set. Swapping is a practice among card-makers where we make a bunch of the same handmade cards and then swap with one another, sharing our ideas and creativity. I love swapping! I get great ideas from the many swaps I receive and love passing along those ideas. This handmade card was made by fellow demonstrator Cathy Somody, one of my regular swapping buddies. I especially love the little tiny card stock scraps used on the bird nest and the paper piecing technique used on the bird.
For the Birds is a fun new Stampin' Up! all-occasion stamp set. I recently held a card class featuring this set, and we made 3 different cards, all using For the Birds. Check out the photos here for more ideas to use For the Birds stamp set. And here are the supplies used for the handmade card above.
