Ribbon of Courage in New In Colors

I love the new Ribbon of Courage rubberstamp set!  Although you can get the coordinating framelits–and they are gorgeous–the stamp set itself can stand alone.  Today's handmade card has just the basics:  stamps, ink, and paper.  But you can work in basics and still have beauty:)

My color scheme came from this favorite Stampin' Up! In Color Combinations document.  This is such a gift from Stampin' Up!, and I have honestly utilized it every single time I go to use my new 2017-2019 In Colors.  Download yours here and keep it handy.  Mine is right next to my card stock so I can reference it quickly and easily.

For this handmade card (perfect for someone facing a cancer diagnosis:(, I used one of the Fresh Fig color combo recommendations:

  1. Fresh Fig
  2. Blushing Bride
  3. Calypso Coral
  4. Crumb Cake

I must tell you that I would never have included Calypso Coral with this color combination…but it works!  And actually, that little pop of color keeps my ribbon from looking muddy or dull or boring.  I know that I can always trust the Stampin' Up! artists:)

  1. Lovely card. The Calypso Coral does add that pop of color that I wouldn’t have thought of. I have downloaded the color chart. Thanks!
