Welcome to the RemARKably Creative Blog Tour where demonstrators will wow you with samples showcasing the fabulously fun-to-use, new Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com, and the full list of blogs on the tour is below.
So after a couple weeks of being absent in blogosphere with a schedule that just did not allow me to get here, I'm sharing the birthday card I made for my daughter Tiffany's birthday early this month. I knew I wanted to use the new Stampin' Blends, and I wanted a garden image since my hubby and I were giving her a family pass to our San Antonio Botanical Gardens.
I turned to the Just Add Color Designer Series Paper and found a lovely watering can image that would help me achieve the look I wanted–modern yet feminine. I normally avoid fussy cutting like the plague! But the images in Just Add Color DSP enticed me to break out my scissors after having a relaxing time coloring with my new Stampin' Blends Markers.
This is the very first full project I made with my Stampin' Blends, and I was able to achieve the look I wanted with no fuss. It was quick and easy but doesn't look like it would be! I popped my little watering can up on Stampin' Dimensionals and added just a touch of black lace (Vintage Crochet Trim) and a single black rhinestone.
The gorgeous DSP is from the delightfully versatile Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalog and the greeting stamp is from Pieces & Patterns rubberstamp set. (I love the modern, feminine font!) I'm breaking away from my self-imposed limits with birthday cards–alway insisting on a birthday greeting for the front of the card. For this card, I put the birthday greeting on the inside!
I hope you're getting inspired to try the new Stampin' Blends markers. They are so easy to use–no artistic ability required whatsoever:) You are now leaving Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com and heading to the next blog on the tour. Thanks so much for stopping by!
