Regal Reindeer for Blog Hop

Blog Hop-Trip Achievers

Welcome to the July installment of Trip Achievers Blog Hop where a group of achieving demonstrators from across the globe link up to inspire you with all kinds of paper crafting projects.

You are at Candy Rattray, and the full list of participating blogs is at the bottom of this post.  Now, onto today's Regal Reindeer card idea.

I am absolutely in love with One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Paper–I seriously love every single piece:)  But the one I'm featuring today speaks to me of Christmas Morning.  It helped me create a scene with a child going to the woods early on Christmas morning–before even opening presents–to give his reindeer friend a special apple treat.

This card was part of my Christmas in July card class by mail.  Be sure to subscribe to my email news to hear about my classes, both in person and by mail.

The new colors Lemon Lolly and Boho Blue plus returning color Misty Moonlight are perfect here, and little pops of color (Real Red) bring that Christmas feel.  I would love to jump into this scene!

Let me point out one more thing about this card which I loved making:  the artwork in Regal Reindeer stamp set is truly stunning IMHO.  The detail is exquisite, and I love that the child can be a boy or girl.  That kind of versatility really helps us customize our projects–way to go, Stampin' Up!
