Welcome to the August installment of Alaska Achievers Blog Hop where achieving Stampin' Up! demonstrators get together online to share our Incentive Trip highlights and Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog sneak peeks. I'm so glad you're here and hope you enjoy today's projects. You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com, and the full list of blogs on this blog hop is at the bottom of my post.
The Alaska Incentive Trip was an absolute pleasure and delight at every single turn. Each day brought time to connect and laugh with Stampin' Up! friends, time to relax and enjoy the beauty of Alaska with my wonderful husband of 40 years, and pillow gifts ie. spoiling gifts from Stampin' Up!
Oh, my. It was a truly amazing time. By the time we docked in Seattle at the end of the cruise, my cup was truly running over with joy and a deep sense of peace and contentment.
Today's project is one I featured on my weekly Tuesday at 2 Facebook Live video. You can catch see every week at facebook.com/sweetstamper. My Live airs every Tuesday at 2PM CDT, and I would love for you to join us! I demonstrated how easy it is to watercolor with Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils.
Pleasant Pheasants rubberstamp set is one of the gorgeous new line-art rubberstamp sets in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog 2018. In addition, I used 2 items that are only available this month:
- Stitched Seasons Framelit Dies
- Watercolor Pencils #2
The frames in Stitched Seasons Framelit Dies are must-haves IMHO. You will want to get yours before the end of August so you can use them for fall, the holidays, and beyond.
Rich jewel tones of Merry Merlot and Shaded Spruce are my card stock choices to complement my pheasants. What do you think???
Although I used the "Happy Thanksgiving" greeting that is part of Pleasant Pheasants rubberstamp set, this would also make an excellent masculine birthday card. Just switch out the greeting.
