Pick a Pumpkin Bundle-Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog 2017

pickapumpkinbundlestampinupPumpkin Season is almost here, and that means fall colors, pumpkins, and crisp air!  I created this handmade card featuring Pick a Pumpkin Bundle for my monthly team meeting.  We have lots of all birthdays in my family, so I made a fall birthday card.  But you could easily swap out the greeting to make a Give Thanks, Thanksgiving, or other seasonal handmade card.  One of the things I love most about making my own cards is the ultimate customization with greetings!

My color scheme came from this amazing document provided by Stamping' Up! artists.  I turn to the In Color Combo Chart every single time I pull out my new 2017-2019 In Colors.  It takes the guess work out of fabulous color schemes! Download yours here and keep it handy to make for easy, gorgeous designing!  I would not have come up with this combo:

  • Berry Burst
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Old Olive
  • Crushed Curry

Somehow, it just looks fallish, fresh, seasonal, and even trendy.  Thanks for the tool, Stampin' Up!  Let me highlight a few things for you:

  • Pick a Pumpkin bundle makes it super easy for you to stamp and punch out with dies.  No fussy cutting!  I love the range of pumpkins, gourds, and branches in this set.  It gives me lots of options to create arrangements or use images singly.
  • A touch of Gold Foil Paper can bring just a hint of shine.  Sometimes, less is more!
  • I like to stamp and/or die cut several pieces and then start arranging.  It's just like putting flowers in a vase.

That's it for today.  Check out my monthly demonstrator team meeting here.  We meet on the first Tuesday of each month, and you are welcome to join us as my guest with no obligation.  I'll also be featuring this card at my monthly stamp club as well.  We meet second Tuesday each month and again, you can come as my guest with no obligation to join.  Check us out!  10 AM session is here, and 7 PM session is here.
