Welcome to the September Edition of the Trip Achievers Blog Hop where top achieving Stampin' Up! demonstrators across the globe join together to inspire YOU with creative awesomeness!
You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com. The full list of participating blogs is at the very end of this post. Below that you will find the Stampin' Up! supplies I used for today's project share.
I created a set of 5 cards and a gift tag with Peace & Hope stamp set (July-December Mini Catalog) along with Christmas Seasons (annual catalog) for Christmas cards and gift-giving. Click on the video below to see all the projects.
Today I'm sharing one of the cards which really evokes a sense of peace, calm, and comfort. During the holidays, I'm especially aware of my friends who have lost loved ones. The holiday season can be bittersweet as the overwhelming sense of loss comes. I endeavor to send cards to them with the explicit purpose of uplifting and encouraging them, sending them comfort and even joy.
Here are a few things that make my Hope & Peace card idea work:
- With mostly Soft Sea Foam and PearPizzazz, a small pop of Poppy parade is very welcome.
- The white sequins (from Seasonal Sequins) bring out the white background in both patterns of DSP.
- The white sequins as well as the Glittered White Organdy Ribbon bring a soft, subtle shine that speaks of the special season without being too bright and brash.
All Stampin' Up! supplies are listed and linked below for your convenience. Be sure to click on my video to see all 5 Hope & Peace card ideas plus a really sweet gift tag. Now, hop on over to the next blog on the hop:
