On Fridays, I normally feature Stampin' Up! fabric projects or scrapbooking. Today, I'm sharing these darling Paper Snips Holders I received for my birthday (October 31st!). My daughter Tiffany (handydandyhelper.blogspot.com) made these for me, and I truly love them! Not only are they super cute, they are truly functional as well. (Sorry about the bad lighting on my photo. I use natural light photography and am having to get used to the lack of daylight now that we are off Daylight Savings Time. As a result, I took this shot with a lamp:(
Stampin' Up! Paper Snips (#103579) are the best small scissors I have ever had, and I've had a lot of small scissors. I was a stitcher before I became a stamper…but that's another story. Anyway, I've owned lots of scissors, and Stampin' Up! Paper Snips are not only fabulous performance-wise, they are a bargain at just $9.95. Although they are extremely affordable, I also like to take care of my fantastic tools, so I don't like the scissor tips just left open, bumping up against other things, getting dinged up and/or bent. Enter: the Paper Snips Holder, Stampin' Up! fabric project!
We saw these demonstrated at Stampin' Up! Convention 2012, and I shared the find with Tiffany (handydandyhelper.blogspot.com). Little did I know she would end up making me a pair of them for my Studio! Tiffany has been making lots of Stampin' Up! fabric projects all year.
My Paper Snips Holders are made with the Petal Cone Die (#121810) and Candy Lane Fabric (#121715). The Candy Cane Lane Fabric is still available in the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack, so you can literally make this Stampin' Up! fabric project for mere pennies. Tiffany has another darling project featuring Candy Cane Lane Fabric–another of my birthday gifts–on her blog today. Check it out!
Please visit my online store to browse and/or pick up Candy Cane Lane Fabric, Petal Cone Die, Paper Snips, and more. You, too, can make Stampin' Up! Fabric Projects at bargain prices:)
