Painted Glass Rubberstamp Set

Painted Glass rubberstamp set is a truly gorgeous set with dressy, classic fonts.  I would buy it just for the greetings!  But the images are equally gorgeous.  And although there are some really flash coordinating dies, for today's card I used the Painted Glass rubberstamp set alone and paired it with the coordinating Graceful Glass Designer Vellum.  This is where Stampin' Up! excels and exceeds everyone else in the paper crafting industry:  product coordination.  When you have rubberstamps, dies, and papers that are equally gorgeous and work together effortlessly, you are going to be Number One in the industry!

I created this card for a Training Event aka Stamp Camp in San Antonio when the new Stampin' Up! catalog launched in June.  I have another one of those events to kick off the Holiday Catalog on September 15th.  Read all about it here and prepare to join me in making 16 different cards with brand new stamps and supplies!  If you don't live nearby, there is a class to go option just for you:)

Let me point out just a few things in today's Painted Glass rubberstamp set card:

1)  This is my color combo.  Blackberry Bliss is a rich, super deep, inky purple.  But my flowers are light and airy, so I offset the depth of Blackberry Bliss with two soft, subtle colors.

2)  When you back the Graceful Class Designer Vellum with Whisper White Card Stock, it makes the colors really pop.  If you want a softer look, leave off the white card stock or use a light colored card stock.

3)  I'm used to using our regular rhinestones in multiples.  I typically scatter them around.  More rhinestones brings more bling!  For today's Painted Glass rubberstamp card, I used just one of the new Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems and it is enough!  These Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems look like actual gems.  Just one is enough!  There are several shapes to choose from as shown, and I love the soft pink shade.  Don't they look like real gems, just waiting to be set into earrings, rings, and other jewelry pieces??!!! That's it for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Don't forget to check out my upcoming Holiday Catalog Training Event.  There's a Class to Go option for those who don't live locally, so you can get in on all the Holiday Catalog goodness right from your home!
