Flower Fest
For today's Saturday Sample, I'm sharing a gorgeous card featuring the new Flower Fest stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! This stamp set had 8 images, and all 5 flower images fit into a punch! Stampin' Up! has done it again with stamp sets that coordinate with punches, making it super easy to create coordinated and beautiful handmade cards, quick and easy scrapbook pages, and more.
This is another of the cards I received as part of a recent swap (a great exchange of ideas via samples) with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Cathy used the Watercolor Spread technique along with some vibrant colors from the Brights Collection to produce this stunning handstamped card. When you give cards like this, they don't get thrown away!

Scrapbook Pages
May is National Scrapbooking Month, and I have set myself a goal to make 31 scrapbook pages, one for each day of the month. I don't know about you, but I'm behind on my scrapbooking, so I thought a little self-challenge would be good for me and help me get back on track. I usually share something related to scrapbooking, so here is my share for the day.
My scrapbooking style is quick and easy scrapbook pages most of the time. Quick and easy does not mean boring! The fantastic supplies I get from Stampin' Up! means there is always something fresh and new AND easy to use. Here are some pages from a mini book I am creating of my granddaughter Olivia. It's a 6 x 6 book which makes it very easy to carry, put in my purse (read Proud Gramma showing off!), and even to store since it doesn't take up much space. With the 6 x 6 size, it's also a snap to make.
For this mini scrapbook album, I'm using the Nursery Suite Quick Accents pack of heavyweight self-adhesive die cuts. These are not stickers! They have the ease of peeling and sticking, but they have much more weight, heft, texture and style than stickers. AND they come in a coordinated set:)
Here's a pic of the quick accents. When you purchase them, you get one 12 x 12 page of each of the designs. That is 19 feet of border accents and over 50 die cuts that can be layered or used alone! You get all of these COORDINATED design accents without spending hours, or even minutes, poring over aisles at the scrapbook store trying and trying to find images that coordinate. Click here to purchase Nursery Suite quick accents (just $8.95!) from my 24/7 online store.
