Welcome to the April installment of Alaska Achievers Blog Hop where demonstrators from all across the globe will be sharing their experiences of OnStage 2018.
OnStage are the corporate events hosted by Stampin' Up! and open to all active demonstrators. Access to these events is enough reason to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator as they are truly outstanding, can't miss events and real highlights in my year:) OnStage events occur twice each year–in April and November.
Okay, enough of the what. Now onto the wow of my April OnStage experience! 21 of my Southern Sweet Stampers team of demonstrators met up in Ft. Worth for a fun, creative girls weekend to remember. My team is a mix of ladies who just enjoy their demonstrator discount, stampers who love stamping with others and hold classes, and those who want to shoot for the stars as they build a business they really love. Each one holds a place of value and honor in the Southern Sweet Stampers:) Aren't they a great looking lot?!!! 
I always make gifts for my team members attending OnStage events. I want to spoil them a bit (because I can!) and also reward them for setting aside money and time to attend OnStage. This year, I gave each one an Acetate Card Box filled with Perfect White Accents, Touches of Nature Wood Elements, and a pen with SSS down the side for Southern Sweet Stampers. I decorated the team gifts with a cute yellow pocket that they could detach from the gift and attach to their lanyard/name badge.
I stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Fort Worth and got to try out the gorgeous suitcase I received as a gift when I made the Global Top 100 last November. It was a lovely room (with free drink coupons!), and I arrived just in time to freshen up a bit and catch up with Jamie Albanese, a precious demonstrator friend from California. She was my roommate which was great as we don't get to spend much time together face to face. Once we got changed, we headed to the CentreStage leadership event. We actually had the wrong address which meant Jamie and I were traipsing around downtown Ft. Worth in high heels and pretty dresses on a hot day–until Jamie figured out we were in the wrong building and we called Uber. There is never a dull moment at a Stampin' Up! event!
All us leaders were treated to
- a delicious Texas barbecue dinner
- fun "party like the 80's" theme (in honor of the 30th anniversary of Stampin' Up!)
- the very first copies of the amazing new catalog
- business training to help us understand and implement the color revamp and other aspects of the new catalog
- opportunity to look at and study the fantastic new product displays before the hundreds of demonstrators arrive the next day
- time to connect with our fellow leaders and make new friends
Saturday was a full day of stamping fun using new catalog products, hanging out with our demonstrator friends, prize patrol (free product prizes which we LOVE!!!), and incredible presentations by both Stampin' Up! corporate staff and selected demonstrators from our area. I was incredibly proud to have one of my extremely talented downline members, Melissa Thomas, present one of the new suites of products. It was a huge proud mama moment for me and an amazing opportunity for her to shine in front of her peers:) She rocked the presentation of the Delightfully Detailed Suite. This is me getting Prize Patrol, and this picture sums up the way I feel at OnStage Events. The are fun, fabulous can't-miss events, and YOU should come to the next one! Join my team now so you can hang out with us! We will connect in person or online–my team is local as well as out of state–and build a relationship. Then we can meet up in Orlando in November and experience OnStage together:) I've been to a lot of Stampin' Up! events, and they never fail to dazzle me.
