Merry Cafe is one of the very, very cute (and versatile!) stamp sets in the new Holiday Catalog, AND it coordinates with the Coffee Cup framelits in the Annual Catalog. I love when Stampin' Up! gives us more than one stamp set to coordinate with a set of frame lit dies!
I designed this Halloween card for my recent Training Event. I host these all day stamping sessions (aka stamp camps) when each new catalog releases to give us a full day to play with new products–try before you buy!
My Halloween card is all about the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. This paper is NOT your typical DSP! The black cat on my Merry Cafe Cat card is not stamped–it is punched out DSP! And the witch's hat is fussy cut from the Spooky Night DSP!
The only stamping on this fun Halloween card is the little coffee cup. Simply stamp with black ink and run through the Big Shot with Coffee Cup framelits. So quick and easy!
The extra little touches that really add that handmade look and touchable texture are the addition of the Vintage Crochet Trim (which is lovely black crochet lace and can go way beyond Halloween!) and the little Black Rhinestone Jewels on the hat.
That's it for today. I'll be doing another Training Event in January when the Occasions Catalog debuts, but I have plenty of other stamping opportunities for you between now and then! Check out my full calendar here, and come stamp with me–online or in person!
