Merry Bold & Bright DSP Card Ideas

Kylie's Blog Hop-NewWelcome to the October installment of Bruno & Kylie's Training Group Blog Hop!

Merry Bold & Bright DSP (Designer Series Paper) is aptly named with its many bright colors and bold patterns.  They are super versatile, and some of the patterns can go way outside the parameters of Christmas cards.  I used 2 of the patterns to make recognition cards for my Top 5 Sales achievers on my Southern Sweet Stampers team.  I always make a card for my top achievers that recognizes them but can also be easily used for a class card.  That way it helps them in practical ways as well as filling their cup with acknowledgment of their hard work.

My layout allows the Merry Bold & Bright DSP to do the "heavy lifting" of design work on my card.  I heat embossed both the greeting and the ladybug wings so there was bold, bold, and more bold!  I love repeating patterns, so the polka dots on the ladybug wings + polka dot paper + tiny pearls make for lots of dots.  I love polka dots!  They are fun and fresh!
