When creating handmade Christmas cards, Lovely as a Tree is one of my favorite stamp sets. This card was inspired by one of my club members, Jana, who is doing a similar card for her personal Christmas cards this year. Maybe when she gets back into town, I can get a photo from her so I can show you both versions of this handmade Christmas card: a study in browns.
So how can a brown card be Christmassy? All that glitters IS gold on this handmade card! And the evergreens in Lovely as a Tree make gorgeous Christmas cards in any color. All the gold touches and sponging make this card seem very elegant and special. This handmade Christmas card was one of 6 designs we made at my August Christmas card class. We made 2 each of 6 desigs for a total of 12 cards…all to the strains of Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole singing timeless Christmas tunes. Getting into the Christmas spirit!
