Kinda Eclectic Stamps and Inside the Lines DSP

Kinda Eclectic Stamps and Inside the Lines DSP

Kinda Eclectic stamps have bold, artsy images that I thought were a perfect fit to be paired with Inside the Lines DSP (FREE item during Sale-a-Bration!).  I created this bright, cheery card for my rubberstamp clubs in San Antonio this month to introduce them to Inside the Lines DSP and the fabulous new Stampin' Up! Watecolor Pencils.  We had so much fun making this card!Kinda Eclectic-Stampin' Up!

The Watercolor Pencils are matched to Stampin' Up! colors so they are easy to use with our card stocks, inks, papers, ribbons, and embellishments for perfect color coordination.  With soft leads that blend easily, they are a dream to use…so much so that they have hit the back order list and are now unorderable until a shipment arrives at the warehouse. The backorders are filled first on February 13th, and   THEN they will be available for order once again.  Yes, it's a bit annoying to have something you want that is unavailable for a few weeks.  In modern life, we usually want everything NOW!!!  LOL!  But have no fear–more Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils are on their way.  They are selling like hotcakes with good reason!  Every time I demonstrate them, people buy them.  They are super easy to use and very versatile.

Okay, so now you know what's up with the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils.  Now let's look at the card I designed to show them off!  I cut a small square of that gorgeous Inside the Lines DSP and colored only some of the flowers and leaves.  I did that by literally scribbling a bit of color with the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils at the center of each image I planned to color. I then took a Blender Pen and began at the center where all the color was.  I drew out the color with the Blender Pen and bam!  Coloring done–with color gradations–in mere seconds!  That's my kinda coloring:  quick, effortless, and done!

All Stampin' Up! supplies are listed and linked below.  Just click!  Today's card is super easy card to reproduce!  I hope you are inspired to get Inside the Lines DSP and do some relaxing coloring the quick and easy way:)
