Inspiring Iris Card Ideas #simplestamping

I'm featuring Inspiring Iris card ideas once again as I used it for my weekly Simple & Stepped Up Facebook Live. #simplestamping is a concept where we take the very basics of card making: stamps, ink, paper to make a card. Sometimes we add one other element, but for this design I kept it super simple.

Here are the points to note about my #simplestamping card:

Stamps, Ink, Paper–that's it!
2 colors of ink, 3 colors of cardstock
Black and white are basics
I kept it super simple, so this is perfect for a beginning card maker–just a few supplies.
Although this is #simplestamping, it made for a lovely Spring card!

For the second #simplestamping card demonstration, I stepped it up just a bit:

Contrasting color card base
Designer Series Paper addition
Punched out greeting
Pool Party Stampin' Blends Marker as a background to make the irises pop
Linen Thread adds softness and texture
Elegant Faceted Gems for a bit of shine I'm happy with the way both these cards turned out and the way they show that both #simplestamping and a bit of added extras make for great handmade cards that are perfect for every level of crafter.
