I'm doing a week of Facebook Lives (Monday-Friday) and kicked off the series with ways to use designer paper scraps. Most of us have loads of these! My card layouts can be done with your scraps or you can cut them intentionally to make cards with beautiful backgrounds with lots of interest.
The first card I created is designed to "break up" a busy piece of DSP by cutting it into strips and allowing some cardstock to peek through the spaces. It's super simple but really pretty.
The second and third cards are made with the exact same supplies and is perfect for either a monochromatic card (blue) or a nice series of coordinating patterns.
Both layouts are all about: 1. The math! You need correct measurements. 2. Arranging the patterns for a pleasing look.
