If you have the Flowering Vine dies (part of the Vine Design Bundle), this is a fabulous idea for you! My demonstration video shows how to add color to intricate dies. Although Flowering Vine Dies have sold out (they are on the retiring list which is while supplies last), you can do the same technique with other intricate dies.
Here are my top tips for making this technique work for you to bring a wow look:
- Use several colors of markers or blends to color your intricate die-cut. You need plenty of colors for this look to work best.
- Placing your colored die-cut on a black background brings much needed contrast to really showcase your colored die-cut.
- Keep everything else on the card simple so that your colored intricate die-cut takes center stage without competition for the spotlight.
