We celebrated my older grandso n's birthday yesterday, and he is a huge soccer fan. I created this handmade card with a soccer theme just for him, and the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die made it come together quickly and easily. A little green grass made with the Fringe Scissors, a balloon made with a couple of punches and voila, a custom birthday card!
I love the ability to totally customize birthday cards for our loved ones. Sure beats standing in the card store or Walmart, riffling through cards for hours and still not finding just the right one. The added bonuses: I enjoy making these custom creations, and my family is waiting to see what I come up with, knowing they are made with love and forethought just for them! Masculine cards can be a challenge, but there are a lot of men who love soccer, and the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die is the perfect product for that!
Here are the Stampin' Up! supplies for my soccer card. Cards for 14 year old boys are hard to come by–but the cool factor on this one scored a goal! And even at 14 and being cool, they really love a day when it's all about them, being made the center of attention, and being fussed over:)
