Happy Holly-Days Card Ideas

I'm doing a bit of a design collaborative today in that I've taken inspiration from two of my fellow demonstrators, Helen Read and Anna Hellman.  My vintage vibe and layout are very much inspired by this card by Anna.  I love vintage Christmas cards, and Merry Melody Embossing folder, "aged" with Soft Suede ink is just the ticket!

I confess to having purchased the Happy Holly-Days bundle and not yet inking it up–before today's project.  I pretty much buy all the bird stamp sets:)  And the bird in Happy Holly-Days is just gorgeous.  He's a proper British robin, the national bird of the UK and an extremely popular fellow in British Christmas cards.  I'll be sharing the beautiful bird on a future card.   Big thanks to Helen for inspiring me to open this stamp set and use the bundle!

Check out Helen's Read's birthday card featuring Happy Holly-Days stamp set for another Happy Holly-Days card idea.  Can you believe this is the same stamp set that I used today???!!!  I love that bird and you will see him on a future card here.  But Helen's card got me putting ink on my Happy Holly Days stamp set.  And she is in the UK, so we are chatting about my son and his family who live there…but that's another story for another day.
