Today I'm sharing a Happy Hanukkah card, using the traditional blues for my color scheme and letting the color scheme and lovely details be the theme of my handmade Hanukkah card.
This is a Hanukkah card that anyone can make to mark the season for their Jewish friends. If you don't have any of the traditional Hanukkah symbols (dove, menorah, Star of David, candles, etc.) in your crafty stash, break out your blues and make a handmade Hanukkah card with what you have.
To give my handmade Hanukkah card a really festive feel I used a pattern from the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper that is full of glitz and shine. Add in some dies with tons of detailing and the very festive Mesh Ribbon, and you have a very special card to celebrate a special holiday.
All products are listed and linked below for your convenience. A Wish for Everything stamp set and coordinating Word Wishes dies are a must have pair of products for every paper crafter IMHO. You can create projects to celebrate almost every holiday, and the fonts are very classic.
Word Wishes dies are super easy to use–they pop right out of the dies. But I do strongly recommend adding Adhesive Sheet to your cardstock before running it through your Big Boss die cutting machine so you can stick it own quickly and easily with no excess glue oozing out–yuck!
That's it for today. I hope you are inspired to make some handmade Happy Hanukkah cards for your friends, co-workers, neighbors, and more. 'Tis the season for celebrating winter holidays!
