Foxy Friends-Stampin' Up!

Foxy Friends-Stampin’ Up!

I'm heading into the 2nd of a 2-part series featuring Stampin' Up!'s Foxy Friends bundle, and I'm thoroughly in love with this bundle and a little bit addicted to using it:)  I'll be sharing several of those projects here on my blog over the next two weeks or so.  Today's simple card was one of the projects we made at my Southern Sweet Stampers Demonstrator Team Meeting this month using just the Foxy Friends stamps.  Stampin' Up! bundles are great because you save 10% on products that work together.  And although the Foxy Friends stamps and coordinating punch are a match made in heaven, I used just the stamps today for a super quick and easy card.

I also used A Little Foxy DSP stack.  This stack of Designer Series Papers is a stack of 48 sheets of DSP in the 6 x 6 size.  My DSP strips are 5 x 1, so you can get 7 strips out of one sheet!  Because the colors and patterns coordinate, they all just work together.  AND there is ribbon to match as well!  Quick, easy and well-coordinated, just the way I like to play and create:)

The complete tutorial to make the card is here along with notes of how best to use it.  My little Foxy Hello makes a very cute card to send anyone to brighten their day.  But I actually designed it as a Back-to-School project.  How does that work?  Use this as a way to introduce your child or grandchild to their new teacher when school starts.   Simply write a few of their personal things inside:

  • Favorite subject
  • Favorite color
  • Hobbies/interests
  • Hopes for the new school year

More than ever, our students benefit from distinguishing themselves with their teachers. Teachers have a LOT on their plates. So when a student does something a little different and unique, well, they become unforgettable! Alternatively, parents could use the same type card to introduce themselves to new teachers with offers to help with ________ in the new year.

This same type introduction works well with Sunday School and youth groups--where there is often a promotion to different classes at the same time of the year.

My Stampin' Up! team, the Southern Sweet Stampers, meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and make 4-5 projects, connect with each other and make new friends, receive business and creative training, and have lots of fun!  YOU can join us for a meeting with no obligation at all.  Come and see what fun we have!  Our next meeting is Tuesday, August 2nd and we will warmly welcome you.  You can RSVP here.
