For the Record Card Idea in Patriotic Colors

For the Record stamp set, making its debut in the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog, has a host of uses and appeals to just about every age.  Check out another For the Record card idea here on a previous post.

For today's card I used a patriotic color scheme.  Although I used a birthday greeting on the inside, this would make an excellent card for just about any occasion–and especially a thank you–to active duty military or veterans.

Although I used red, white, and blue ,my color scheme is not just patriotic.  It's really just classic with a whole lot of versatility.

Merry Melody Embossing Folder was introduced in the Holiday Catalog and carried over which means it is still available for purchase.  I thought the sheet music was a perfect pairing with the record theme.  I used a Blending Brush and Basic Gray ink to further enhance the sheet music and really make it come to life.  The video below shows the process and difference it makes.

This is one of 4 cards I demonstrated for my online card class which can be seen on the video below.   I dressed up the inside of my handmade birthday card with a doily and circle die.  Check out the video below for all the details!
