Flurry of Wishes

Flurry of Wishes has been my go-to set for a lot of Christmas projects this year.  I knew I would need a fair stack of thank you cards this month, especially after Christmas and all the festivities of the holiday season.  Flurry of Wishes and coordi nating Snow Flurry Punch are in the main annual catalog, so they are not retiring even as we are in the midst of the Holiday Catalog Retirement period.  See the retiring items here–many of which are on sale.

So I created this very simple but elegant thank you card with an allneutral color palette.  After the very colorful Christmas season, I find that something restful for my eyes by way of a simple, neutral color scheme is perfect.   And the large, bold greeting is from One Big Thank You—-a stamp set full of different ways of saying thanks.  Everything I used on this thank you card is in the main catalog.  And Flurry of Wishes is not just for Christmas!  These lovely snowflakes stretch their use into the entire winter season.

My simple layout uses a 4 x 2 piece of DSP and just a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper, and an oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits.  Then stamp the double snowflake and punch them both out at the same time with the Snow Flurry Punch as accents.  Easy peasy, just the way I like it:)
