I'm continuing to share handmade Christmas cards using items from the annual catalog…during the run up to the Holiday Catalog 2017 launch. Although I could give you sneak peeks, I'm still having so much fun with the annual catalog that I thought I would just wait until the Holiday Catalog actually launches on September 1st before I share those lovelies:)
Flurry of Wishes is not a new stamp set–it's been with us for a few years now. I love its classic snowflake images–the artwork is lovely, and some of the snowflakes layer on top of each other. But my favorite part of this stamp set is the greetings! I love these phrases and the fonts!
I shared a snowflake birthday card for my granddaughter early this year. Click here to see it. And I made a wintry thank you card (click here) also with Flurry of Wishes stamp set. You can make more than just Christmas cards with it!
So let me just point out a couple of things that contribute to my card being quick and easy but also elegant and classic:
- The new Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder is subtle and classic. Done in Whisper White card stock, it looks clean and classy.
- The Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon has a luxurious look and feel. It instantly delivers a touch of elegance to my quick and easy Christmas card.
- The designs in Be Merry Designer Series Paper run the gamut from cute to classy to modern. That gives lots of possibilities in one pack of Designer Series Paper. You can see two more cards I made with this same DSP here and here.
