I am loving the First Christmas rubberstamp set for making inspirational Christmas cards! This is one of the designs for my upcoming Christmas Card Class: Stamp-a-Stack. It's a quick and easy design, perfect for making multiples. Personally, I mail and hand out lots of handmade Christmas cards, so I need quick and easy ones.
First Christmas rubberstamp set is versatile and easy to use. Here, I've created a super simple handmade Christmas card that evokes the simplicity of the very first Christmas. I love the Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue color scheme for its symbolism. The Crumb Cake and Early Espresso conjure up images of a humble stable full of animals. The Bashful Blue symbolizes heaven and the heaven-sent gift of Jesus Christ.
I also like the Window Frames framelit that gives the focal point a great geometric/architectural look. Its shape reminds me of a window from an early church building–perfect for my inspirational Christmas card.
Are you making your own handmade Christmas cards this year? I encourage you to do so! You will be so blessed by the creative process and love that goes into each handmade Christmas card. I like to pray for the people receiving the cards while I make them as well as praying that my card will help connect them to God. And giving/mailing the cards is fantastic as you send out that love! You will send handmade, heartfelt, prayerful Christmas greetings to the special people in your life. Give them love this Christmas with your own handmade creations! It is a wonderful expression of the true reason for the season of Christmas: Jesus Christ.
