I do love the Abigail Rose Suite which includes Cottage Rose Bundle. It is so versatile! At the beginning of my YouTube video below, you will see a number of Cottage Rose card-making ideas. Check out my monthly card class by mail with 8 more Cottage Rose card ideas–just click here.
For today's Cottage Rose card I chose Soft Sea Foam to bring a soft look that moved me away from the many neutrals in the suite. I love showing the versatility of our stamp sets, and Cottage Rose is incredibly versatile.
Let me point out just a few things about today's super simple card featuring Cottage Rose Bundle:
Random stamping the background with Soft Sea Foam ink gives me a tone-on tone look which is soft and subtle yet gives a lot of interest and the perfect canvas for my floral arrangement.
By coloring my rose with Petal Pink Blends and then adding a small strip of Petal Pink Cardstock plus the Elegant Faceted Gems, I have just enough pops of color to "jump off the page."
The stamped images are so detailed and luxurious that using just stamps, ink, and paper really makes them shine. This is #simplestamping except for the use of dies.
The Cottage Rose Dies make super simple–and quick–work of cutting out the flowers and leaves. You could fussy cut these images, but why??!!!
