I am having so much fun with this Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and matching Cookie Cutter Punch from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog! It's way less messy than making sugar cookies, it's calorie-free, and there are so many creative possibilities! Fall is the time of year that giving away treats really comes to life. Cute little treats appeal to EVERYONE! Whether young or old, male or female, this cute little Halloween treat will bring a smile. And we need more of those…so I'm going to make treats and give them away. How about you?
My simple Halloween treat is easy to make and it's just card stock and a bit of twine. So it's easy on the supplies as well. I took an 8-1/2 x 2 piece of Basic Black card stock for the actual treat holder. Then it's just a few things to decorate. The mummy is a quick stamp and punch! Boom…done! The mummy's little Halloween bag and the bat are also part of the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set. Lots of accessories for our little cookies! It's a bit like making paper dolls when I was young:) The few little extras that bring some sparkle and shine are the little bow tie (part of the Cookie Cutter punch:) and that it's made from the SCRUMMY new Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper! I also added just a tiny bit of sparkle to my mummy's eyes.
I like quick and easy Halloween treats because these are things I make in bulk. While there are times to make really special packaging for a special gift or really special favors for a wedding or baby shower, more often than not I need quick and easy so I can make a lot and share a lot:)
People you can share with to bring smiles and spread goodwill:
- teachers and school staff
- church leaders and fellow members
- neighbors
- bank staff and others who serve us regularly
- elderly–they get forgotten way too often
- veterans
- first responders and law enforcement
Let's have fun making cute Halloween treats and then share the love! I put a Ghirardelli chocolate in these, but you can use any flat treat. Make it work for you and your pocketbook.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I so appreciate the opportunity to inspire your creativity.
