These flowers bring to mind the cherry blossoms that blanket Washington D.C. in the spring. Here in South Central Texas, our trees are already budding, blooming, and filling the atmosphere with sweet scents!
For today's card I am, once again, choosing a project to share that uses all annual catalog (aka big book and main catalog:) products. In the midst of Occasions Catalog (the Stampin' Up! spring catalog) focus, I love to keep drawing in that treasure trove of creative inspiration and fantastic products, the annual catalog.
I'l point out just a few things about my handmade card today:
- I derived my entire set of Stampin' Up! products for this project from the Color Theory Suite on pages 146-147 of the annual catalog. This is where the unrivaled product coordination of Stampin' Up! really shines and helps me to have fun and create vs. hunting down products and colors that coordinate. Check out the Stampin' Up! video below to see full Color Theory Suite.
- Check out that large scallop border! Many people mourned when Stampin' Up! retired its scallop border punch. But honestly, it's MUCH easier to achieve this look with the thinlit die that is part of the incredible value of Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies.
- Berry Burst is my focal color for today's spring card, and I love this bold, yet elegant pink. It's one of the 2017-2019 In Colors and my 2nd favorite. My top favorite is Lemon Lime Twist:)
