Christmas Pines-Stampin' Up!

Christmas Pines-Stampin’ Up!

I promised you a second card by my talented team member Susan Jones featuring Christmas Pines from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, and I'm proud to share that with you today.  This is another of the projects we made at my recent Training Event aka Stamp Camp in San Antonio.  I host these all-day stamping events quarterly.  While aimed at Stampin' Up! demonstrators, they are open to all stampers, and we have fun! Save the date for the next one, January 14th.

Okay onto today's card.  Featuring the Christmas Pines Bundle, this card is much prettier in person with its bold, high-contrast color scheme paired with subtle texture and shine.  I'm not sure it comes through on the photo, but the middle layer on this card is dry embossed with the Holly Embossing Folder, and then the raised images are touched with Wink of Stella for subtle, elegant shimmer and shine.

Susan's cards are always high on little details that make a big difference.  I love how the pine branches are stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and then also heat embossed in silver.  Subtle loveliness!  This actually comes together quickly with the Big Shot making quick work of those very detailed pine cones that bring texture and shine and the dry embossed layer that delivers even more texture.  Stunning, Susan!

Again, please save the date for the next Quarterly Training Event (January 14, 2017) where we will be highly focused on the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration.   Yes, there is life after Christmas!  LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  All Stampin' Up! products used are listed and linked below for your convenience.  Ta!
