Today’s share was one of five cards at my December Saturday Card Class, and it was the crowd favorite! The adorable polar bear from Christmas Friends (Last Chance List and reduced in price!) is perfect for a holiday thank you card. With so much kindness being shared, you are bound to need a few thank you cards!
Here are a few things that make my polar bear card work:
- I outlined the entire bear image with Light Pool Party Blends Marker. This is almost unnoticeable but makes a big difference.
- There are no Garden Green Blends Markers. I used Light Lemon Lime Twist and Light Shaded Spruce to create a good, medium green that is pretty close to Garden Green.
- Strips of pretty patterned paper from Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper makes for an interesting background. The small prints are key to this look.
