I'm sharing Brightest Glow card ideas for sparkly Christmas cards! I'm in the throes of a 4-month Christmas cards by mail series and chose Brightest Glow for my September class. I paired it with Boughs of Holly Designer Paper for traditional Christmas designs with a special sparkle delivered via the Brightest Glow Dies and 12" x 12" Glimmer Paper collection. Click here for class deets.
I saw an interview with the artist who created Brightest Glow Bundle, and she shared how she wanted to bring the look of glowing Christmas lights to a suite: sparkling lights peeking through trees, bringing soft light to the Christmas season.
Today's card share is a design that features Soft Succulent (2020-2022 In Color) Cardstock and ribbon with Cherry Cobbler. That modern color scheme perfectly suits the traditional poinsettia pattern but brings an updated classics look.
I work to use all, or almost all, the stamps and dies in my classes to help stampers learn to use them. Brightest Glow Bundle has several dies with tiny holes to mimic Christmas lights. I put one of each of 3 colors from 12" x 12" Glimmer Paper collection (Mini Catalog), behind the die-cuts in 3 projects for a soft glow that is subtle and pretty. You just want to turn the card in your hand to pick up the sparkly light!
