My favorite embellishment in the new annual catalog is the 2017-2019 In Color Bitty Bows. OMG! They are too cute!!! Today I'm sharing the Mother's Day card I made for my daughter using 2 of the new In Colors: Tranquil Tide and Berry Burst. And those darling Bitty Bows! (With a self-adhesive backing, thank you very much!)
Although the Bear Hugs stamp set and coordinating Bear Hugs framelits just retired, I thought my card was still worth sharing with you:) My daughter often likens herself to a mama bear, so the Bear Hugs stamp set and framelits was a natural pick for me. In fact, this is the second year in a row I have used this set for her Mother's Day card! In a totally different way, of course! You can see last year's card here.
Don't you just love the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper background? I love that in this DSP stack, you get lots of different wood grain choices–almost like picking out furniture…which I love to do! The combination of the Bitty Bows and the new Berry Burst In Color put a feminine twist on otherwise more masculine images: wood grain and bears.
That's it for today. Thanks so very much for coming by as I get back into the groove of regular blogging. I have fresh vision and ideas for this and aim to inform and inspire you in all things stamping!
